I've worked a bit on my creature, but finally I decided to make some quick sketch of some reptile, just to study a bit some scaly skin, before tryng somthing personal..
So that's the first test: Iguana:
it's not completly finished, I've got to spend some more time in the front part of the mouth...
Ok, that was a really quick test, modelled from a simple zSphere Branch.App_4 million Polygon. All the scales in the head was hand made with clay brush, and fine detail of the neck was done with a custom alpha.
The next one, was done as a 3D Max test, because Looking around here in England, i've found many software house that use Max as primary software, so I start studyng it.
And unbelivably, for the modelling task, max seems quit nice.
So: that's my Tortoise.
Her Name is Aghangana.

Still need some work.. and some plygone more...

Maybe I will split up the shell and the skin part, just to have some more poly.
